• Cattle number: 0.72 m
• IBR status: positive
• Official IBR eradication plan: Since 2002 an obligatory IBR eradication program is running.
• IBR-free certification: To achieve IBR-free status all the animals of the farm have to be individually tested (serology) twice a year
• IBR herd/individual prevalence: Not available
• Vaccination: Both live and inactivated marker vaccines are available and used in the field. Small back yard farms must use only inactivated vaccines while the majority of large dairy herds prefer to use live vaccine.
